Kolokium Eropa bagi Penelitian Indonesia dan Melayu (bahasa Inggris: European Colloquium on Indonesian and Malay Studies -ECIMS) adalah forum terbesar Eropa ilmuwan-orientalis tentang masalah Indonesia dan Malaysia pada tahun 1970-1990-an abad ke-XX.

Sejarah singkat

Didirikan pada tahun 1978 oleh tokoh-tokoh orinentalis dari Eropa: Denys Lombard (1938-1998), Russell Jones, Luigi Santa Maria, K.D. Grains. Kolokium itu diadakan dua tahun sekali di berbagai kota di Eropa. Sebanyak 11 simposium sempat diadakan. Yang terakhir diadakan pada tahun 1999 di Moskow atas inisiatif Persatuan Nusantara dan didedikasikan kepada Denys Lombard yang meninggal pada tahun 1998. Selanjutnya dianggap perlu untuk menggabungkan ECIMS dengan Asosiasi Eropa untuk Penelitian Asia Tenggara.
